UNITED organises a series of conferences for the planning of common campaigns and actions, and to develop networking between the different groups in the network.
These meetings are a unique chance for many anti-racist NGOs to meet and plan their concrete co-operation and to compare good practices. UNITED has an open invitation policy. Invitations are sent to as many as 8.000 organisations.
Participants are chosen according to a profile detailed by the International Preparatory Group for each conference. Some care is given to the amount of women and minorities participating, as well as to the age of participants.
All conferences have been well prepared by a rotating International Preparatory Group that takes care to create a programme suited to the needs and wishes of the participants.
